Eating roti made from wheat flour provides many health benefits. Sometimes some people make such roti that one does not feel like eating. They become hard, which is a very difficult task to chew. Why are some people not able to make soft rotis? Sometimes the roti becomes hard if the dough is not kneaded properly. It does not rise properly or there is also a problem in rolling it. Let us tell you some such easy tricks, which will not only make the rotis rise, but the roti will also become soft and tender.

Tips for making soft roti (How to Make Soft Roti)

1. If you make roti and it turns out very hard, then keep some things in mind while kneading the dough. When you knead the dough, keep it covered for some time. If you start making roti immediately, the roti will not rise properly. Knead it well for 5-7 minutes by pressing it with your palms.

2. When kneading the dough, do not add water all at once, but knead the dough by adding water in small quantities. If you knead the dough in this way, the rotis will become soft, and when you roll it, it will take a round shape easily. Sometimes, if the roti is too hard or wet, it is not rolled well. This does not make the rotis soft.

3. Many times the kneaded dough is left over. You must be keeping it in the fridge. This not only makes the dough dark but also forms a crust. Always keep the dough covered in the fridge. You can also store it in a container, but apply oil on the dough before that. If it is not able to fit in an airtight container, then keep it wrapped in foil paper in a bowl. When you make the roti, it will be soft. There will be no problem in rolling it either.

4. Apply ghee on the remaining rotis and wrap them in foil paper. Heat them slightly before eating. They will remain soft to eat.

5. While kneading the dough, add a little curd or refined oil to it. This makes the roti very soft and fluffy. It will also taste better. Adding curd will make the roti puff up and cook well.
